From an empty WordPress to a working site: install the theme, connect the licence, import your demo.

Requirements

  • WordPress and PHP (minimum versions are in the theme readme.txt)
  • Elementor, the free version is enough
  • The two zips from your panel: scp-1.3.0.zip and scp-starter-1.1.0.zip

Install the theme

  1. Upload and activate scp-1.3.0.zip under AppearanceThemesAdd newUpload theme.
  2. Upload and activate scp-starter-1.1.0.zip under PluginsAdd newUpload plugin.

Connect the licence

The AppearanceSCPLicence screen offers two ways:

  • Connect with my SCP account: your browser goes to SCP, you approve the site and come back. The key is never copied to the site.
  • Paste the key: enter the 64-character key shown at purchase.

Import your demo

The SCPDemos screen lists all twenty-six demos. Pick one; pages, menus, colours and images are installed.

Changed your mind? Undo on the same screen removes everything the import added and leaves your own content alone.

Move to another site

  1. In your panel, remove the old domain under My sites.
  2. On the new site, connect the licence under AppearanceSCPLicence.

staging.*, dev.*, *.local, *.test, localhost do not count, so you can try there before moving.

Updates

A new version shows up as an update in the WordPress dashboard. If your 12 months of support have ended you see it but cannot download it; your installed site keeps working. Renewal costs the same and keeps the key.

While your support runs, write to [email protected]; include your site address and the first eight characters of your key, not the whole key.
