Privacy policy
What data we keep and why, how long we keep it, and your rights.
Texte provisoire. Il passera en revue juridique avant le lancement ; cette version est une traduction, pas le texte juridique.
Ce document est pour l'instant disponible en anglais et en turc. Vous lisez le texte anglais.
What we collect
Only what the service needs to work:
- Account: your name, email address, language preference and a hash of your password. The password is never stored in plain text.
- Orders: what you bought, when, and which version of the terms you accepted. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
- Site connection: when a licence activates, the site address, the product ID and the time. The My sites page relies on this.
- Support messages: whatever you write to us.
What your WordPress site sends
The SCP theme calls our server at two moments only: when the licence activates and when it checks for updates. All it sends is the licence key, the site address and the product ID. No visitor, page or usage data is sent.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or hand your data to third parties for marketing.
- We do not track visitors of sites built with SCP.
- We do not store card numbers.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in and one CSRF cookie protects forms. Both are httpOnly and carry no tracking purpose.
How long we keep it
Account and licence data stay while your account exists. Order records are kept as long as the law requires. If you close your account, we delete what we are not required to keep.
Backups
Database backups are kept with an object storage provider abroad; access is only possible with a bucket-scoped key.
Your rights
Under KVKK and, where it applies, GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion. Write to [email protected]; we reply within the legal period.
